Green flags are award by An Taisce as part of the internation eco-schools projects.
Some highlights from the speech were my attempts at lame humour such as saying "I'd like to say I had a speech prepared but my dog ate it. Which is interesting in that I don't have a dog."
"Someone, I think it was Kermit T. Frog once said, it's not easy being Green." I went on to compliment them on their hard work and how it's not one day thing, but a life long thing. There were probably some other environmentally right-on sentiments.
