Finally, got around to dropping some spare change to K.now. A good few coins collected since the last drop in March.
I was talking to someone recently and it occurred to me that my mother was a seamstress and my father a fisherman (trawler, not rod and line) and yet I can neither sew nor swim. Strange that. There again, my father can't swim either so it might not be so strange after all.

its not a bad thing if boaty-type people can't swim it means they rely more on their lifejackets and equipment to save them.
And that usually works out better than trying to swim miles and miles (potentially) to shore or wherever.
Actually, dad has mentioned that at the time with lack of radio, radar or lifeboats for the most part that going down straight away with the ship was the preferred option rather than struggling for a while and then going. Scary times.
